Update:
Please try to arrive at 6:30. I've made a guaranteed reservation.

Please RSVP in the comments and check back here for any updates.

Here's an expanded note for those who's like more info:

I've done four Meet the Vloggers events in Boston and one in San Francisco.

In Boston they have been a brunch, lunch, dinner, and drinks and dinner. In San Francisco we met for drinks and dinner with the Current TV meetup.

Others vloggers have done more formal Meet the Vloggers presentations worldwide where vloggers get up in from of a room and present and teach vlogging. This gathering is not that.

Meet the Vloggers is not defined as presenting in front of an audience at an Apple Store, although a lot of times it is that. The name was created for the first Apple Store presentation but that does not define what it is.

Drinks and Dinner - Las Vegas - CES

Drinks and dinner during CES.

I'll be there on 1/7 and 1/8.

We'll firm up the time and place.

Update:
The New England Patriots will be in a playoff game on Saturday. Where's a good place to meet and watch together?

Update 2:
There are unconferences going on.

This will include everything from what equipment to use to how to drive traffic to your site, how to build community through videoblogging and how to subscribe to news feeds using RSS so you can watch other peoples' videos. This will be a fun, interactive
presentation. I hope you can make it.

If you cannot make this time but are interested, please let me know and I will keep you on the list for future events.

A bit about videoblogging for those of you who are not familiar with it:

Videoblogging, also known as vlogging, is a computer-based form of communication using blogs to show videos you make. These can be for personal, journalistic, artistic or other purposes. Maybe you want to tell the story of what is happening at city hall or maybe you want to show snippets from your child's birthday party. If you can videotape it, you can vlog it. Think of this as being similar to podcasting, but with video. It's really quite simple to do and cheap as well. Some examples of vlogs:

Thanks, and I hope you can make it.

What's This?

MEET THE VLOGGERS is a series of presentations and events focused on videoblogging. We see these events happening all over the world, getting more and more people involved in this wondeful form of grass roots media.

Videoblogging is a new form of expression centering around posting videos to a website and encouraging an audience response. It is the next step from text blogging and podcasting.

A community of artists, video editors, podcasters, bloggers, and software developers has formed around this new mode of communication. We are a group of people who use videos as a normal part of our blogging.
